Cyma was founded in 1862 by the Schwob brothers Joseph and Theodore, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the significant center for watch making in Switzerland. Cyma gained recognition for its innovations and was granted several patents over the years. One notable innovation was the introduction of the "Cymaflex" shock-resistant system in the 1930s. This system was designed to protect the movement from shocks and vibrations, contributing to the durability of the watches.

Here we have the stunning and eye-catching Cyma Chronometer Marvel 15J Trench Cal 6 3/4 Mechanical Watch with Porcelain Dial, Roman Numerals, Citadel Hands and Trench Leather Strap. The Cyma Caliber 6 3/4 movement was given a good clean-up and oiled on 19 July 2026. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby giving the owner peace of mind.

Equipped with the high grade and highly prized 6 3/4 Cyma movement; it has 15 Jewels and operate at 18,000 BPH. The timing shows approximately 15 seconds deviation daily while lying flat which is well within the 30 second requirements for by brand new modern automatic watch standards.

Its well-preserved decorated silver case was also given a good clean-up and rub while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curves. Most age imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape and colour. The crystal is original and was given a good rub and is now in excellent condition albeit miniscule scratches do remain.

The case width and thickness are approximately 26.7mm (with crown) and 31.2mm respectively. The lug width is 14mm and the Strap can accommodate wrists up to 18cm; hence, this watch is suitable for men and the modern women. This is an extremely sporty and rare Cyma Trench Watch in near mint condition; so, be unique and own a circa 1910 Cyma Trench Watch that is almost impossible to source in such fine condition or purchase it for that special someone instead.
